Hi, I’m Laura-Lee. I’m the author of MyBeak Social Media. I get my kicks cutting through the bull #$%@ to offer no nonsense small business advice with a strong belief that social media doesn’t need to be complex and should be accessible to everyone.

I am able to regularly update my website with small business advice due to my business acumen and overarching OCD tenancies.

I can make earrings out of scrabble pieces, make the world’s best banana bread (ask me for the recipe!), and am a perpetual culinary tourist that’s eaten everything from buffalo brains to grubs.

People feel good hiring me as a small business coach because I offer social media advice as part of an overall marketing communications strategy; have a business degree and over five years of professional experience in online research and business development.

Above all, I turn into a little Rainman when it comes to solving business problems to leverage your online presence into a profit-making machine. Boo yah!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and adventures in technology. I have been interested in tech pretty much all my life, and recently, things have gotten a bit LARGE, and the possibilities to tap into existing infrastructure make me feel like it’s time to take the tech by the horns, and connect!!! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your post! I’m excited for you and your burgeoning presence on the web. I’ve just started my own blog, and created my first YouTube video and this type of creating and sharing is quickly becoming an addiction, almost surpassing my love for cheese (my favourite being Manchego), but not quite! What do you use to edit your YouTube videos?

You really seem to have the recipe for building a strong personal brand. Very exciting!

For me, creating and sharing is the most vibrant when we take some of our walls down, let are creativity flourish, explore our curiosities in life and others and like a child playing with his digger in the sandbox, be driven by the sheer desire to have fun!

I follow Chris Brogan on Twitter. I consider him to be one of my mentors. I just wrote a blog called “10 Things I’ve Learned from Reading Social Media 101 by Chris Brogan”. I added him after I bought a book that he wrote called Social Media 101 and loved the read. Despite being extremely successful, he comes across as being humble and generous and that’s a thing of beauty!

    Good luck to you!!!

I don’t edit the videos, yet. I am thinking about editing them in the future though.

My first time here via your Guest Blogging post I saw on Twitter. I enjoyed it, but now I’m interested in your banana bread recipe. If you see my tweets from yesterday at @tianakaimiami you’ll see I’m waiting for the bananas to mature to finally bake my first banana bread ever. :) please share if possible. Thank you for the posts and the recipe.
