Marginize is a plug-in that allows normal users to surf the net and leave comments or reviews on every site you visit and see what other users think about the sites as well. Once you download the Marginize feature you are all set to go.

Whenever, you visit a website, a margin pops out where you can see what other people have to say about the website you are visiting or where you can post your notes, reviews, or simply commentary about the credibility of the site.

Advertised as a way of making every website have a social element, Marginize is much more than a way to leave notes for your Twitter or Facebook friends all over the web. It is a great way to increase your online presence and your own credibility by leaving thoughtful and helpful comments for others to read.

It’s also a great way to find out which sites may be worth taking a closer look at and which ones aren’t, as well as picking up helpful navigation tips and a lot of other helpful information.

A Good Idea Made Better Marginize isn’t the first plug in of this kind, but it improves on past plug-ins by allowing actual users to leave unedited comments so that people visiting the site get more information than other plug-ins, where you only get an “official” type of annotation.

Imagine visiting a site that sells a product and finding out in the margin that the company has poor customer service, or that their return policy sucks! This is helpful information that will help you to make a more informed decision about whether or not you want to do business with site.

Of course, you can also find out about good things that people like about the site as well which is also helpful. If used wisely, Marginize could prove to be extremely helpful in saving people time searching through various sites looking for information, products or services.

It can also help online business improve their web pages and their customer service by reading the comments people leave and fixing the problems that people observe or find with the website.

What The Reviews Have To Say While at the moment it is difficult to find many reviews about Marginize, the ones that can be found are extremely positive with this plug-in receiving 4 out 5 stars from most people who have tried it out.

It is just one more way to people to gain helpful information from the web and a pretty useful and easy way to get information as well. This is one plug-in that may well be worth trying out.

It sounds like The Google sidewiki, and we all recall what happened to that. There were many silly comments made via the Sidewiki, and I guess those people could have used the normal comment systems but I guess they worked out that they could be banned easily that way. Does the plugin allow the site owner any moderation or anything similar?
