Lets face it, there are so many interesting people for each one of us to follow on Twitter that sometimes we simply can’t keep up with what the hot topics are among our those on our Twitter list. Now there is a new App called Strawberry Jam that is designed to help us know what the hot topics are among those we follow on Twitter.

Strawberry Jam is new. In fact, it is still in the beta testing phase but, it is already causing a bit of a buzz. This free online app connects to your Twitter stream and collects all those things that people are talking about. It then harvests out those links that are most popular from those you follow on Twitter and sends them in the form of a daily digest right to your inbox.

It’s a pretty handy application especially for those of you who follow countless people on Twitter. Now you don’t have to feel like you are missing out on anything important because Strawberry Jam tells you exactly what those in your stream deem to be the important links for the day.

So whether your interest lies in politics, great books to read, or craft projects you can find out immediately those links in your areas of interest that people think are really great.  Finding that information you want is no longer a matter of hunt and search, the information comes to you.

There are even rumours that sometime in the future this application may well spread to Facebook as well which would really be great as it would allow you to keep up with what is important on both social websites and even compare what topics are popular on each site.

Most users will really like the idea of actually knowing what is going on for a change, instead of shifting through countless tweets trying to discover which ones are hot and which ones are not, which means you can spend more of your online time productively.
