I’ve just started taking a Social Media class at BCIT in the hopes of remedying this rather sad state-of-affairs I’ve found myself in—but, one question—do I really want to aspire to have more than 300 friends on Facebook? Scratch, scratch. I’m on my way.
I dream of a world where I can use what I’ve learned to help small businesses in my community–the mom and pop shops that adopt a hyper local strategy.
I’ve decided to experiment and learn. I’ve decided to be persistent and totally immerse myself in my passion. I have a feeling I will learn about this world quite quickly, but it’s a dynamic world, one that will keep me on my toes.
Perhaps one day I will look back on this post and realize that I’ve achieved my dream and stuck to what felt right. I have a lot of respect for people in this area and will learn from the best using Google Alerts, StumbeUpon, Quora and Twitter, to name a few.
